ARC Aqua Aerobics Class!

This evening at 6pm I went to the ARC with two buddies of mine to join in on the Aqua Aerobics class. We needed to go to this class so we could write a reflection on it for our class Aquatics foundations. So taking the easy way out we decided to go to the begginers class but my god were we in for a shock! First of all the water was freezing so we had no choice to get moving so we could warm up and second of all we were in for a treat! We stared off by treadeing the water with different movements down in the deep end of the pool. We did this for about 20mins and lord was it tough! We were warmed up then let me tell you! We then moved back to the shallow end and did some water weights and my arms are going to feel it tomorrow! It lasted the whole hour!

I have to say I actually really enjoyed it! It was a great workout and I'm surprised not many people were there? Was only four there tonight. I'm going to go again next week as its different and for someone like me who is injured at the moment it didn't hurt my knee at all. These things should be advertised more I think as young and old people are missing out on a fun but great workout!

Monday and wednesday nights for begginers 6-7pm!

  1. Sounds like a rough time! For my Aquatic Foundations I went to the Kayak Roll Clinic which turned out to be a lot of fun. But, it definitely wasn't as intense as yours sounded. This also sounds like something I should tell my brother to do. He broke his leg three years ago in three spots and it still hurts him to do normal exercises so maybe something like this would be good for him. Sounds a lot of fun though!

  2. I was going to the Kayak Roll Clinic for my out of class assignment but things got to hectic. So for my two out of class assignments I simply did the I100 and I200. This two things were very time consuming but I do not regret doing them. They were full of information that will be useful when I am a Physical Education teacher someday. If I had to do three out of class assignments I would want to try the Aquacise. It seems like it would be a true workout.
